Anna Wintour, Natalie Massenet – chairman of the British Fashion Council, Amanda Berry – CEO BAFTA, William Vintage and Metropolitan Museum of New York Fashion Institute curator, Andrew Bolton gathered together to celebrate ‘A Night to Remember’, showcasing the vibrancy and iconic fashions of the world’s red carpet events.

Guests included Mario Testino, Victoria Beckham, Luke Evans, Helena Bonham Carter. will.i.am, Caroline Rush, Sabine Getty, Erin O’Connor, Daisy Lowe, Caroline Sieber, Christopher Bailey, Henry Holland, Stephen Jones, Erdem, Simone Rocha, Matthew Williamson, Hannah Weiland, Molly Goddard, Portia Freeman, Pixie Lott, Justin O’Shea & Veronika Heilbrunner, Laura Bailey, Lauren Santa Domingo, Nicole Farhi and Bianca Jagger.

The event is the fourth consecutive annual Green Carpet Challenge, where fashion industry leaders gather to show solidarity for the work being done to create a more sustainable industry. Bonaveri sponsored the event and launched their new BNATURAL eco-mannequins, becoming the world’s first manufacturer to do so, showcasing the results of an intensive 3-year program of research and innovation.

The BNATURAL mannequins were shown dressed in exquisite gowns by designers, Hubert de Givenchy to John Galliano and Alexander McQueen provided by William Banks-Blaney of William Vintage. Made from BPlast and BPaint, the mannequins represent a significant and revolutionary step forward for the fashion industry. Bonaveri has undertaken extensive research to ensure that the high standards that they are famous for are maintained with the release of this innovative new product.

The focus of the Green Carpet Challenge is to raise the bar on environmental and sustainability awareness in the industry. There was plenty of reason to celebrate as esteemed guests paid tribute to the work being done by Bonaveri and Eco-Age as they encompass a wider acknowledgement of the work needed to achieve a truly sustainable industry.

“This event brings together a brilliant group of leaders with sustainable values from the creative industries. I hope it will inspire delight and continue to show that sustainability is the most magical and show-stopping story in fashion” – Livia Firth

Later, guests watched the UK premiere of ‘The First Monday in May’, Andrew Rossi’s unique capture of the Met’s biggest exhibition, ‘China: Through The Looking Glass‘ culminating in the Met Gala, organised each year by Anna Wintour, US Vogue’s editor in chief and artistic director for Condé Nast.
