The Gemeentemuseum Den Haag is about to open an illustrious exhibition of Hubert de Givenchy haute couture with a special homage to Givenchy’s muse, Audrey Hepburn using Schläppi 2200 mannequins supplied by our Dutch distributor, Store Concepts.

Hubert de Givenchy worked closely with the museum in bringing this exhibition together, personally selecting garments never before seen in public. Whilst focusing primarily on the work of Givenchy, the exhibition will also showcase specific work created for Audrey Hepburn during their lifelong collaboration on and off screen. Hepburn’s work with UNICEF is also highlighted with a special section dedicated to the work she carried out as Goodwill Ambassador between 1988 and 1992.

The exhibition runs from the 26th November 2016 up until the 26th March 2017. For more information see the museum press release here.

“Givenchy’s clothes are the only ones I feel myself in. He is more than a designer, he is a creator of personality”
