Noble, the new male Schläppi mannequin, will be launched at a dinner event to be held on September 15, 2015 at the Michael Kors Building alongside his female counterpart, Aloof, launched in 2014.
The dinner event, hosted by DK Display is part of a series of global events, introducing NOBLE and our new Schläppi collection and celebrating the work and diversity of our international distributors. This event celebrates the success of Aloof worldwide and introduces Noble, her male counterpart to our US clients.
The event is an exciting opportunity to introduce Noble in the auspicious new Michael Kors Building – built with the aid of donations, primary from Mr Kors himself and other generous benefactors. The building was opened and dedicated in July 2015.
The Michael Kors Building houses ‘God’s Love We Deliver’, a charity set up in 1985 to deliver meals to HIV/AIDS suffers at the time. The charity has grown from the humble beginnings in a church basement to today’s operation where it delivers over 1.3 million meals each year to people living with severe illness in the New York City metropolitan area.
2015 is especially significant for GLWD as it marks 30 years since the organisation first started. The charity survives on the help of over 8000 volunteers that work side by side with staff in the building preparing and dispatching meals.
DK DISPLAY has an ongoing commitment to charity – the decision to hold the presentation in this venue adds value to the launch event by extending the scope beyond mere business, exposing an opportunity to highlight to those invitees the importance of the foundation’s mission.
The space, located on the fourth floor with views over the city of New York, has a special connection with fashion though Michael Kors, Anna Winter and others in the industry. We’re delighted to be a part of the evenings proceedings and look forward to the event.
