The exhibit marks a warm welcome of Nanasai to the global Bonaveri family and represents all of our ambitions for a very successful future partnership.
The Japanese market has been an important part of the global growth of the Bonaveri brand. Japan has always offered a unique opportunity for Bonaveri, with leading brands and fashion houses expanding across Asia and Europe. Nanasai has recently supplied Tokyo-based department store, Mitsukoshi Isetan and fashion brands, World United, United Arrows and Estnation. Japan is a sophisticated and well-established fashion market where trends and artistic experimentation mix easily with commercial labels. The birthplace of Japanese fashion is not unlike Bonaveri’s own DNA where ancient traditions and post-war aspirations have given rise to a unique and flourishing creativity. This is always evident at the many events and shows now part of Japan Fashion Week, held twice a year in Tokyo in March and October.
Throughout Japan, evidence of cultural and creative experimentation in fashion has given rise to appreciation of artistic forms in mannequin design. This is where our partnership with Nanasai is most significant and where this exhibition exposes these trends for the Japanese market. Nanasai has built a powerful display of Aloof and Noble mannequins from our new Schläppi collections against a backdrop of large bronze Bonaveri logos. The creative team at Nanasai have brought elements of the BONAVERIMILANO showroom to Tokyo through the display of mannequins and imagery from the Bonaveri factory and family. Smaller miniature figures are set amongst the large bronze panels and white mannequins, all of which are beautifully arranged in the new Nanasai showroom.
Through the efforts of Nanasai and Bonaveri Italy, we will continue to provide the Japanese market with sophisticated, high-quality artistic mannequins and we look forward to developing our new partnership with the Tokyo team.
