Winner of the IFS Designer Award, Younchan Chung of the-sirius:

Thank you for the amazing prize. What news! I am so honored to be a part of IFS 2017, and really appreciate the opportunity to spread the word of the-sirius thanks to the British Council, BFC and Mercedes-Benz. I am really happy to win this prize as I only started the-sirius in Seoul Fashion Week last year, but I have dreamed of being a part of the global fashion industry.

Also in this year’s IFS 2017 exhibition was a delightful installation by Egypt featuring two Schlaäppi 2200 female mannequins set against a colour changing backdrop of fields and flowers.

This year’s theme for IFS is LOCAL / GLOBAL featuring an installation by Studio Toogood of neatly stacked bricks and fabric dyed with London clay.
