Bonaveri and Melania Fumiko team up for a bridal wear exhibition at BonaveriMilano

Words by Ian Thompson | 24 May 2017

Melania Fumiko has chosen to reveal her latest bridal and ceremony wear dresses at BonaveriMilano with the help of the ever elegant Aloof Collection.

Bonaveri continues to support young talent at BonaveriMilano by enabling exposure to press and buyers through hosted events. The three-day exhibition followed a cocktail party on Wednesday the 17th of May and subsequent press and buyers event.

Bonaveri’s philosophy behind creating the Milan space is in part to encourage such support for young talent. Melania represents that sector of the industry where emerging fashion designers navigate the very creative and productive part of their careers where support is able to encourage further growth and development.

Melania Fumiko finds inspiration in multi-cultural creative expression and global travel – this particular collection celebrates the art and philosophy of Japanese traditions. The elegance of the collection and the juxtaposition of colour and pattern echoes the simplicity and serenity of Japanese horticulture, landscape and art.

Flowers for the event were provided by Dahlia Design.
