This collaboration between Bonaveri and Zara features 26 Aloof mannequins arranged on mirrored, gold and transparent perspex interlocking platforms that support the display of mannequins. The interlocking panels rise high above the floor of the foyer providing platforms for each of the seated and standing Aloof figures. The clear and mirrored panels echo the rich decoration of the entrance with the Murano glass chandelier floating above the installation.
Zara’s unique installations are always of a high standard and this one for Milan Design Week is no exception. The visual merchandising team applies their consistent standard to all of Zara’s global installations, resulting in a rich, contemporary language for the retailer. The use of Aloof mannequins provides Zara with the contemporary look they desire, with her relaxed sophistication adding to the elegance of the design. This installation features Zara’s trademark eyelashes and red lips applied to the Aloof mannequins with the window display leading into the foyer continuing this concept.
The installation with Zara at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele store is one of three events that Bonaveri will be participating in during Milan Design Week. If you are visiting Milan during Design Week, visit Zara at Corso Vittorio Emanuele to view the installation.
