Bonaveri is one of the leaders in the design and production of artistic mannequins. From our factory in Cento we craft an amazing array of beautifully sculpted mannequins that are used by leading designers and fashion labels across the globe.
It is by no means a coincidence that the work our team produce is so well conceived. It is through the exploration of forms in miniature that we are able to develop our full-size collections. This early design stage forms a key part of the creative process and injects the DNA of our forms into all of our work.
Often miniature figures and forms will express a fine sense of detail and intrigue that can very easily be lost at a larger scale. Our creative team know this well and spends as much time on the proportion and form as they do on the clarity of detail. Visitors to this exhibition will be delighted by wet and dry clay sculptures that in themselves are works of art.
The exhibition has been curated by Bonaveri and is presented in our newly completed Milan Showroom. The space has been transformed to showcase the development of both Bonaveri and Schläppi Collections from classics such as the Schläppi 2200 / 2500 from the 1970s and 80s through to present day works.
Both male and female forms are presented in groups showing creative stages from early exploration through to finely detailed and proportioned figures. Mini bust forms from the 1960s through to the 1990s are displayed alongside current and latest work for the Aloof and Noble Collections.
The exhibition opens today and will run through until the 19th of April 2015. The showroom is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
