Streetwear brand, KITH recently partnered with Italian fashion house Versace producing a collection of exuberant silks and velvets that perfectly fuse the creative energy of both houses.
Launched in September 2018, the Versace / KITH collaboration collection has made its way to Shanghai for a presentation featuring bespoke Bonaveri mannequins.
The mannequins, featuring male and female poses were originally crafted for Versace’s retail network and perfectly represent the capital between the two brands; showcasing the young, dynamic narrative that weaves into the creative collaboration.
I think Kith talking to the millennial and Gen Z generations in a completely different wayâlike we are trying to do with Versaceâand this is what I like about this project. It is something that their typical customer doesnât expect, but at the same time, it fits perfectly with what both brands stand for.

The presentation at the IAPM Mall in Shanghai features men and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories against a backdrop of black and gold. Versace’s iconic logo has been reintroduced with KITH adding their own brand mark to the emblem.
The collection is both dramatic and emblematic of both fashion houses; a fusion of luxury and streetwear that has often alluded labels. Here though, KITH and Versace are able to make that connection, offering a collection that represents both labels equally successfully.
Chinese film stars Xu Kai & Zhong Chuxi; musician Liu Xianhua and supermodel Xi Mengyao were at the launch celebrating the release of the collection in Shanghai.
