The new 8000 Obsession collection encapsulates everything that a Schläppi mannequin represents: unique proportions, a fluid aesthetic and an allure that is unmistakably Schläppi.

The new collection has been designed once again in collaboration with Emma Davidge of Chameleon Visual, London. Emma has become a key player in the evolution of the Schläppi brand, instinctively drawing out the features that make this family of mannequins so unique.

The new Obsession Collection, to be released at Euroshop 2020 in Düsseldorf, features freedom and flamboyance of forms that capture an age of music and dance, most prevalent during the 1970s in New York.

Personalities of the time include Pat Cleveland, Jerry Hall, Grace Jones and Diana Ross – all icons of their time who rewrote the rules of feminine engagement in society. A new freedom of expression ushered in a new movement that instilled power and confidence in strident, creative women. It is this same determination, romance and confidence that has been designed into the new Schläppi poses.

Obsession is the newborn of the Schläppi family, rooted in a tradition of vibrant inspirations.

For our presentation at Euroshop, we are delighted to be able to show 5 new Obsession poses, delicately coloured and featuring feathered wigs that add to the glamour of the display. Each of the mannequins in our shoot is dressed in haute couture garments by Jason Wu.
